We are not “trying” your product we are testing it, we review it, and we make recommendations to improvements where needed and why we think those improvements would increase sales.  The product line is tested over a 60 day period.  Restock over review line is our responsibility, but also means sell-though and profitability is high and the manufactures is going to be highly recommended as a stocking item to retailers.
Non-juice products
We need a quantity of 5 if you have varied colors/designs then you need to have 5 of each color/design in order to test each SKU’s sell through and profitability individually.  You as a manufacture are asking a retailer to dedicate a quantity of shelf/display area to presenting your product to the customer in the best light.  We will make the best possible display and inform retailers how to duplicate the proper display of that product.  If the manufacture needs to build specialized display case hardware for retailers we will also make mention of that need.
E-Juice Products
Introduction of a Line – We highly suggest that Manufactures keep lines to 4 flavors or less, you’re competing for inches of shelf space and this makes that introduction viable.  This is a practical application of retail display space vs. laws governing packaging and sale of juice.   Add a flavor to the line with a frequency of no more than once every 6 months after line launch so THAT flavor gets the note and attention the retailer should put forward based on past success of the line and lean on the creditability and rapport built with the customers.
We did our homework on what retailers do with sample packs, they sell them, cheap.  Not all but enough that we estimate the conversion rate from a sample pack to a sale to be around 8%  Its our magazines intention to cut that cost curve and increase sample pack to sale rate to 35%  this is the sell-through portion of the test.
We need:
• 6 x each flavor in each strength of 15ml
• 5x each flavor in each strength in 30-39ml bottles
• 5×7 quality marketing photo material for that flavor. Or send us the graphic we will make the material.
• Data in the excel format we specific with graphics of each product line( we will clean this up and standardize this for your retailers and the manufacture to redistribute with their product samples)
That is a total of 55 bottles per flavor.  Your product will be sell-through tested one at a time we will not have your product competing against itself for the customer’s attention.
It gets a rollout ping for a 100 mile radius for our customers on a night that we show Free Movies and Popcorn in our Park area the only designated smoking area in our city.
We do a 5 day sell-through and then pull it from main display and watch sell through for the next 45 days forcing the customer to actually ask for the product.  All products are done this way and while it will not determine geographic flavor preferences it will give comparison relative to other products.  Product is only compared to initial sale to resale it not compared to other products.
